Dentures are removable prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth, and which are supported by surrounding soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity.

Other alternative treatments to dentures are available such as Implants and Bridges. Along with these new technologies, dentures have also improved through technological advancement.
Dentures are now lightweight and can have the look of natural teeth. Most dentures are made from a combination of metals and acrylic resin.

Dentures are classified as partial or full. Partial dentures are designed to replace a small number of teeth, and help prevent existing healthy, natural teeth from shifting position; full dentures replace an entire set of teeth such as upper or lower dentures.

Immediate dentures are one that design to replace the teeth that need removal at the same time of the extraction.  Since the mouth and the dental ridges change or shrink over time, 3 months after the extraction, a denture reline is necessary to keep the denture fitting well and to prevent dental ridges from "dissolving" more rapidly.

As with any kind of prosthesis, dentures take time to get used to, but after practice your speech, appearance and confidence can be close to normal.

We are providing Denture treatments for patients from Penrith and surrounding areas including Windsor, St Marys, Mount Druitt and Rooty Hill...
